The Item Information Flyout is accessible by clicking on any Item Name in the list view from the Request Stage or the Order Stage, and it allows you to review and edit Item Information, Shipping Address Information, as well as Shipping Notes.
In the Item Information, you'll find all purchasing-related details such as Item Name, Description, Catalog #, Quantity Requested, Unit of Measure, and Supplier. Additionally, you can update the item’s inventory details—such as Category, Location, Owner, and Inventory Unit of Measure—as soon as your Request is in 'Draft' status.
Depending on the Category type you select for an item in Item Information and also your workspace Inventory Settings, the Flyout may load additional details such as Technical Information. Here you can find and edit technical details such as Lot #, Batch #, Serial #, Expiration Date, and Purchased Date. Information like Container UOM and Container Type can also be found in this section. Quickly update the Total Inventory Quantity when your items come in cases, packs, bundles, or boxes, by setting the UOM Conversion Factor. For example, if you requested 2 cases (cs) of Ethanol, and each case has 4 bottles, then the UOM Conversion Factor should be set at 4, and your Total Inventory Qty will automatically be calculated.
Safety Information may also be displayed on the Flyout depending on the Category type you select for the item and the Inventory Settings on your workspace. Here you can find and edit all safety-related information such as the CAS # and the BioSafety Level, and easily upload SDS files (multiple file types are supported).
Address Information Section
In the Address Information Section, you will be able to select the Shipping Address for the item requested.
Shipping Information Section
In the Shipping Information section, you will be able to find and edit the Shipping and Tracking details for the item requested. This section will display the: Tracking Number, Carrier, and Estimated Delivery date for the shipment.
